Need the Riverside absolutely bouncing for the Millwall game! Hopefully be a sell out with plenty of colour in the stands.

It was a really good atmosphere for Bristol game, so expect that it will be just as good for Millwall. Doubt if we will have more than 27,000 though with it being on TV.

Unfortunately the atmosphere has been poor this season. I realise I take my share of responsibility for that, but save for the red faction and a few more in the south stand there's hardly any singing. A few people clap in the sw corner, but the atmosphere n general is poor.

The most important thing for atmosphere is not crowd size; it's how much those who are there are up for it.

Those there on Saturday were up for it, and the atmosphere was good. I can recall some rocking atmospheres with 17-19k in the ground.

I'd rather have an empty seat next to me than someone suffing, sighing and telling me "I don't see what everyone's excited about" and "it's hardly Barcelona..."

Will there be more than 24,812 (Saturday's crowd) there?

Probably, because we could very well be in a better league position than Saturday and it's the last home game of the season, with Millwall fans likely coming in greater numbers than Bristol did.
Not really surprising.

UTB (who uses sign-offs?)

Nowt wrong with a town our size getting 25k, much larger cities only get a few thousand more.

If you are talking about Sunderland, then I am positive they have been telling fibs about their crowd sizes all season, there ground is a third full at best, no idea how they get away with claiming there is 27k there every week.

Mind you with only 2 home wins in 15 months, I am surprised that they even get that!

There will be more than 27k. Its the biggest game of the season.

I didn't expect to see UTB on the Sheffield United programme - but they're not closet Boro supporters but a rally call for the Blades.

I'd like to think we'll hit 30k for this one or just under.

'If you are talking about Sunderland, then I am positive they have been telling fibs about their crowd sizes all season, there ground is a third full at best, no idea how they get away with claiming there is 27k there every week. 'because it's tickets sold; not turnstyle clicks.

Also, I watched a Real Madrid match last weekend against AM; and the lower section of the crowd had 'brilliant white' tops on, and all were going mad, 12th man style. It looked really good on tv. Every one of them was wearing the same thing. You can see the contrast on the photo

Tried to find it on youtube but wasn't able to while at work.

The atmosphere in the North Stand is very poor these days, majority of fans near us in the North just clap along to every song that is sang by Red Faction. Very few people around actually sing and join in, it's just lots of clapping

Red Faction are great at getting the atmosphere going just wish they wouldn't sing so many songs that only they know and not the rest of the ground

“but as a team can we please start on the front foot”

Thought we were pretty positive from the off on Saturday; Howson had one decent effort just past the post before they scored.

Starting on the front foot doesn’t mean you’ll score first, does it?

It wasn't great up until we scored the 2nd and then the place was rocking. Even the North stand found its voice.
