When he scored and did that cringeworthy celebration all by himself I got the impression the players were thinking 'oh Christ he's off on one. Best leave him to it'.

I had to look at the linesman when I seen the other players reactions to the goal haha thought it had been disallowed.

Maybe he'd warned them he was going to imitate a missile being fired from a plane and they thought it was inappropriate

"Cringeworthy celebration"

Yeah, there's nowt more cringeworthy than a player who's passionate about his club being delirious after scoring a very important equaliser for them.

The motivation for the celebration didn't make me cringe, the execution of it did.

I'm sure George will be devastated he made you cringe. Have you thought about e-mailing the club and demanding an apology from him?

I'm gonna ask the groundsman what the pushing thing is all about next home game [^]

I'm sure he won't care at all that I thought his celebration was rubbish. And thank goodness for that, I'd hate to think I'd upset him.

Still puzzled why no-one joined in. Don't think I've ever seen that after such an important goal.

Brilliant, two defenders score the goals in a winning game and all the twits whinge about is the lads celebrations.

When did Britt last score?

15M!

Danny`s catching him up and George`s enthusiasm reminds us of that arm waving when he scored against Derby!

His celebration was obviously Superman. Put his hands over his eyes like a mask then pretending to fly.

Superman doesn't wear a mask. Its mixing superhero references for children spectators in a way that is confusing and misleading. I do think something should be done about this.

A whole two weeks ago.

On Newsnowmiddlesbrough - the Chef at Boro looks like Clarke Kent and that what George calls him. It was a reference to that - and Superman of course

Britt - two weeks ago? Wooop!
Were it not for Ayala in the last three games and Patrick Bamford we would be sitting mid table not thinking of Wembley!

UTMB!

Maybe the other players didnít want to celebrate too much at that time barcause they wanted to restart the match as quickly as possible and get a winner.

Save the elaborate celebrations for when you have the lead and have time to waste.

For cringeworthy goal celebration look no further than when Spuds score the hand slapping and little dance they do.

The linesman/throw in routine is him asking the linesman to let him know about any dodgy throws he does (foul throws, etc...)

It's his way of getting pally with the linesman

I remember you criticising people on this board for not voting in elections. What happened to letting them live their own lives?
