Royals to attend aircraft carrier ceremony

HMS Queen Elizabeth
The Royal Navy's largest ever surface warship
65,000 Tonnes
£3.1bn Cost
280m Flight deck length
700 Crew currently on board
155,000 miles Length of electrical cable inside the ship
162db Volume of foghorn

And 0 planes. Not until 2021 anyway. And not as many as it was built for. Because we're skint.

Be afraid Johnny Foreigner, be very afraid.

I'm looking at it right now out of our office window.
White ensign flying from the Ensign staff on the flight deck, Royal Standard flying on the stbd outer yardarm on the foremast.

Royal Navy: 19 of the (77) commissioned vessels are major surface combatants (six guided missile destroyers and 13 frigates) and 10 are nuclear-powered submarines (four ballistic missile submarines and six fleet submarines).

US carrier battle group consists of: an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, at least two destroyers or frigates, and a carrier air wing of 65 to 70 aircraft. also, on occasion, includes submarines, attached logistics ships and a supply ship.

Hmmm... I think our aircraft carriers will be sailing with the US navy more than ours..

She has got the planes. They dont start operational flying off her until 2021.

Think we have 17 at the moment and the first squadron is getting stood up next year.

Saying that she will always have the USMC F35s on her aswell as ours. We won't buy enough!
