Interesting. It was always going to happen that one of the fi techs were going to open it all up.

Beginning of the end for conventional currency or still a fad?

The only conclusion I could come to when researching USI Tech was that it was a pyramid scheme.

Then if that is your view, then that is fine and each to their own.

I think you are wrong, but that is my opinion and the opinion of a lot of people.

I don't disagree that it is all a risk though, but what isn't in this type of market?

USI Tech is 100% a pyramid scheme. Paying referrals up a chain is the definition of a pyramid scheme.

It seems real because bitcoin is going up in price so it can hide that no new investors are coming in for a bit longer but the business model is 100% unsustainable.

If you are in early enough then it can still be profitable but as always in a pyramid the later you get in the more you are subsidising those above and the more likely you are the one to lose the most.

Anything that offers a guarantee of growth has to be a illegitimate in the long run. If you own bitcoin and the price starts to fall then at least you still have the asset. If that happens then USI Tech will shut down and you'll be left with nothing.

If you're only getting into bitcoin right now, I really wouldn't bother.

With whats happening today with Bitcoin there's a high chance many big traders are pumping the price readying to dump which means we will likely see a correction soon.

Well, that's what the sensible prediction would be. Right now who knows whats going on with this. Too many joe bloggers are getting involved for a quick buck with no research which just seems awfully dangerous.

In my opinion a lot of people will get stung soon. The sharks will eat the Bitcoin newbies very soon (my prediction anyway).

Thatís my thoughts too. I dipped my toes last week, made 40% and sold it today. Great if you got in a year ago but itís all a bit too crazy for my liking! This afternoon it fell £2k in a matter of minutes, good luck if youíve got the stomach for it though!

That's a really interesting read and when it makes the front page of the Times - you know it's a serious bubble.

The incredible and fast growing hype around Bitcoin means many are jumping on board. The very basic law of supply and demand is therefore pushing up prices. The same law tells you that as soon as more start to take their gains rather than there are latecomers trying to jumping aboard it will decrease in price. That slow decrease will then turn into a torrent as everyone realises what is happy and tries to take their gains. This is very volatile and it won't just be a 10% decrease.

I put a bet on the rate (it is a bet really) about a month ago on e-toro. I bet £500 and itís now worth £1200. A 5-2 winner I guess.
