A bloke asks what Yarm is like to go for a night out and as usual some of the loons on here turn it political, you really need to give your head a shake.

Not political at all.

Just advising everyone who descends into Teesside's finest manor need to raise their standards thatís all.

Yarm on a saturday night ?

Never been there since 1994, it had gone down the pan after that.

Used to be OK for a Saturday session in summer especially in the 80`s

It seemed to change when those huge estates with the gigantic pylons were built and then IB was built.

Was never as good as Stockton on a Saturday night years ago... then again where was?

Just the amount of people IBF, it was a quiet Stockton suburb, now Thornaby is one of the biggest housing and populations on Teesside.

Not having a pop.

Its just not as nice as it used to be.

Drank in Yarm for years, not my thing these days really. Prefer Norton or Bedford/Baker St in Middlesbrough.

If you're unfamiliar its a good little night out, plenty of bars and a lot of undergone big refurbs recently and offer better choices than 3-4 years ago.

I'd avoid the Keys Nightclub at all costs.

You are right, not the first to say that. I was only joking btw. Just trying to get a rise out of a few posters on here I know. Was hoping that Bellwhiff Ted Striker would have his say, I love Thornaby btw. A few of the bars in Norton HS and Stockton have taken more than a slice tbf. The pubs in Yarm are still quality though

Eaglescliffe is an old part of Stockton, IB in 94 only had 5 million residents.

Just watch watch you don't bump into piffs missus after she's has a bottle of savvy b to many on his credit.
Or I spose that could be exactly what you are liking for, love starved housewifes drastically trying to reclaim the attractiveness of youth finding that a barratt detached and a leased Audi can no longer fill the deep hole inside as the life long pursuit of material one up mans ship has left them cold and unfulfilled. If that's your bag you will rump your self raw 👍

Jeez, that sounds like a track from a the the song. Youíve probably got some issues you need to address there Hez.

35 years since I started going out regular in Yarm and as I see it not much has changed. Tuesdays have died, but the claggy mat was always shÓte anyway. Nowt wrong with it in my eyes, Nortonís ok too as is the boro and Stockton, Yarmís just closer - canít understand why people get so bent out of shape over trivia.
