I also didnt realise he was at Boro for so long. Id have assumed hed left after relegation in 1997.

I'll always remember his testimonial.
Usually low-key affairs but there were 29000 there at Ayresome IIRC.
Seemed odd as he hadn't even played a league game for us. But Robbo was the new manager and the area was buzzing.
Manure champs I think.
