We as blokes get 'man flu' every year and it's a cold. I only say man flu to annoy the GF[;)]

Trust me I've had actual flu once in my life and it was over 10 years ago. I was off work for 4 days and 'dying' in bed. Simply put your whole body aches and you are wrote off.... Bad times[V]

The flu pandemic of 1918-9 killed more people than died in WWI so I think it's correct that almost everyone who suffers from a cold thinks they have flu.

Yes when I was in my late teens my immune system was knackered, used to end up with full on flu and tonsillitis at the same time, horrible. This would be twice a month some months.

Funny thing is, as soon as I stopped the disco biscuits and missing endless nights sleep, it all stopped.[:D]

At 42 I'm probably physically fitter than I've ever been and maybe get 1 head cold a year if that but never flu. [^]

There are three types of flu A, B & C. Most adults will have both A & B in their lifetime.

Type A is severe and you feel like you have been run over by a truck and cannot function at all, causes pandemics and people can die from it

Type B is mostly less severe, more like a heavier head cold but you lose all your appetite. Man Flu is usually moderate Type'B' and not a male overreaction to a cold, despite the myth.

When people say they thought they'd had flu and then they really did get it, they mean they only had type B before and then caught Type A, or had their first ever severe strain of B

And possibly those who think they have never had it mean they have never had Type A. I had Type A in the last official major epidemic of 1989/90 and it was horrendous the most ill I have ever felt as an adult. I was living on a university campus and nearly everyone caught it

My screen is working perfectly and I didn't miss it out.

It is a list. What is your point?

In taking a flu vaccine you will not get 'pumped up on some formaldehyde'.

Formaldehyde is produced naturally within the human body. Copy and paste the web address below if the actual link doesn't work. An interesting snippet regarding the presence of formaldehyde in certain vaccines.

www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodVaccines/ScienceResearch/ucm349473.htm

As with many things it is about context; what is the formaldehyde doing? at what level is it dangerous? etc.

Hope you find it useful truthBomb [^]

"My screen is working perfectly and I didn't miss it out."

but T_A_D you stated "I suggest you do some research other than posting youtube videos".

so you did therefore "miss it out" as I didn't just post a youtube video.

"It is a list. What is your point?"

yes it is a list of ingredients found in the flu jab/s. not everyone has an 'I don't want to know' existence.
I think it's important that people are aware of what ingredients are in any dose before they have it injected into their body.

whereas you might trust the authorities who promote the wide-spread use of flu vaccines, others people may see 'health professionals' as legalised drug pushers used by big pharma to sell their poisons.

Formaldehyde is a natural byproduct of decomposition. it has also been classified as a "probable" carcinogen for humans.
the multi-dose flu shot contains mercury.

"There is a total lack of real evidence that young children even benefit from flu shots. A systematic review of 51 studies involving 260,000 children age 6 to 23 months found no evidence that the flu vaccine is any more effective than a placebo. Also the shots are only able to protect against certain strains of the virus, which means that if you come into contact with a different strain of virus you will still get the flu."

https://www.bewellbuzz.com/general/10-reasons-flu-shots-dangerous-flu/

interestingly enough, Health Impact news have today published "Formaldehyde: A Poison and Carcinogen Used in Vaccines".

ps. also worthwhile doing some research on thimerosal, mercury and aluminium.

"Sounds similar to those in the USA who don't put fluoride in drinking water as it's a ' poison, which , in certain doses it is... But not in water. "

[:D] you're a funny guy. it is a poison but not in water. [:D]
it's interesting that you should randomly choose to bring fluoride into the discussion around flu. and it's always worth noting that Teesside has the highest level of fluoride in its water in the Uk.
last time I checked it was 1 - 1.5 mg/l (milligrams per litre).
you should see what that sh!t does to your brain and bones buffalo. imagine drinking just 4 litres of it per day. that's something like 6 mg of fluoride. now times that per year and you're talking over 2,000 mgs of fluoride. there's some proper fluoride heads out there dude, and no doubt proud of it [^]

I love to know what I'm taking when it comes to medicines, my interest is also fuelled by my area of work. I certainly do not have a "I don't want to know" existence.

However, rather than look at a list of ingredients, see formaldehyde and instantly think it is bad I like to ask questions. Questions such as "what does the formaldehyde do?" and "how much formaldehyde is present?"

In large amounts formaldehyde would be toxic in a single dose. In small amounts (as in vaccines) in fulfils its function without issue. Formaldehyde is produced in small amounts within the human body.

It's all about context [^]
