The thing is if he played we might of won so why did Monk chose to disciplined the player and affect the greater good of the club.

I've heard he's finished, this isn't an isolated incident.

All depends on who comes up with what in January.

The bus that went on Friday??

He could have got a lift down on Friday or Saturday. They could have waited for him.

Sounds like more issues going on behind the scenes

Possibly trying to force a move, I smell the whiff of an agent.

"if he played we might of won so why did Monk chose to disciplined the player and affect the greater good of the club."

The greater good for the club is to have discipline.

Make an exception, and Traore will think he's somehow special, and can do what he likes.

Meanwhile, the other players might think maybe they can get away with it too; if the club lets them all away with it, discipline breaks down. If only Traore is let off the hook, you breed resentment: a no win situation of your own creating.

We might have won with Traore, or we might have lost. The guarenteed "greater good" is discipline.

Talented as he may be, he's not the messiah and he's not indispensable.

He is very, very far from indispensable.

He is at times a liability.

He'll be off the team sheet for a few weeks. If you f00k up Monk will make you pay. Fry and Ayala for example.

Downing played in stead of him and played well.

The way Adama was subbed at half time against Brentford suggests the management team are not happy with him. I thought he was starting to improve after the Bolton game with better quality crossing and being more of a threat, but then he go sent off at Villa and left the rest of team with a lot to do. Norwich he was quiet and Brentford he seemed on a different planet at times.

We won't see him in a boro shirt again. Spat his dummy out when he found out he wasn't playing Friday.
