An inquiry has been told Graham Taylor discouraged a victim of sexual abuse from reporting the crime to the authorities. [sad]

Shocking stuff. The way its presented in the article Taylor was trying to protect a young player from terrace chants about sexual abuse, that they'd get if they pursued a case against the paedo scout.

Which tbf is probably something a player would have to take in to consideration even now sadly. Can you give evidence under one of those press silence orders? Like when Giggs had cheated on his wife. I know that ones a bad example as it still came out but presumably there's others where it works and the case is kept anonymous.

The OP is a bit like Dr Who. Every so often he has to morph into a new character guise on account of his ban.

Whatever the notion that Taylor was trying to protect the player is diavowed by the fact he took no action to safeguard other young players by relieving the scout of his duties.

IS this the real Smoggy or one of his mates? According to him he rarely blesses FMTTM with his pleasure and 3 other Tory nuts share this account.

If that is the case, and an account is being used for the pursuit of idealistical purposes and not an individual one at that, shouldn't the account be deleted?

I cannot see how an account being operated in those circumstances sits with the rules of the message board. It's totally unethical.
