I was thinking he might have made the bench at least last night.

Does anyone have any idea how far away he is from a return?

Monk said before the Bolton match that he'd probably be ready again by next Saturday.
So I imagine he might make the squad against QPR.

I thought he'd said that he was hoping he'd be involved back end of this week. I was thinking that might mean him back training rather than in the squad?

He's been back in light training for a while, hasn't he?

You may be right

"Martin is doing really well, he probably won't make the game at the weekend but we're pleased with his progress. By next week we expect him to be back out on the grass."

I'd interpreted the "probably" as meaning he's in training but not yet match fit, and the grass meant for a match.
Might have meant back in full training.

Back out on the grass sounds like he's been doing rehab, swimming and gym to me

Yeah, you guys were right.

He's back training on the grass now, but still not fit enough for Saturday.
Shame.

Injury has dragged on.

He will make the bench at best. No way he will start given the lay off.

He'll play a part in the cup game I would imagine.
