Blades first defeat since January

Very good result today against a very in form team

We should have got at least 2 in the first half - second half we stopped playing and ran out of energy a little.

I agree - they were not a bad team at all. Fancy them to push for a play-off place.

But weren't they unbeaten in a weaker league as they just got promoted.

Thought they were well organised but average, don't think they have enough goal threat in them to trouble the play offs. Clarke and Evans aren't good enough at this level, Sharpe could possibly but don't think he'll get more than 10.

I agree with the above. They look strong at the back and defensively, but carried very little threat going forward bar some set pieces.

They may improve as season goes on, of course, but don't look like they have enough quality in the final third to challenge for promotion.

All that time without a defeat and when it does finally happen their fans took it well 😂

They beat Brentford last week the same Brentford put 3 past forest.

That's the championship

Which why 3 points is so vital.

They've got a decent corner and free kick taker, something we're lacking.

Who ever its against not losing since January 4th is an achievement

They will likely be top half come the end of the season

I had a pre season nibble on them to finish top half at 2.80 on Betfair.

Momentum is a big thing in football and they are a decent size club for the Championship

I thought they were pretty decent but yeah, i don't think they have the firepower to challenge for playoffs.

I thought their player Fleck looked a decent little player. I think that's his name anyway, the small one.

I agree with those who think they will be up there challenging for the play offs.

Resilient in the first half when we could have over run them and came back into it second half passing it around quickly in small groups of four to five players.

With a bit more luck they would have gained a classic championship away point with a late equaliser.

Plus they are a big club in a big city with good support, going to Bramall Lane will not be easy, they have a lot going for them at this level.

Unied are a very, very decent side. Do not underestimate beating them.

Not only were they unbeaten in 19 games and 7 months, they are also a team where nearly all the players are well integrated into their system, they are also a side that knows how to win away. They scored 3 or more goals away from home TWELVE times last season. They will win a lot of away games this year, maybe 10+ as they have decent attacking midfielders.

Yeah, it doesn't matter what league they were winning in, it becomes a habit and breeds confidence when you go unbeaten for that long.

On the flipside, our players who were here last season will be low on confidence and in a losing habit until we start stringing a few wins together.
