Gardener's; assemble. Manure question

I was in the market for some manure for the garden when I noticed that many people on sites like Gumtree are trying to give it away because it takes up space. Problem being that no one was local.

Closest I found was near Whitby, but they said it was too far to travel.

It's only about 66 for a tonne from B&Q, but if it's free then I've saved myself 66 minus delivery costs to the owners. Anyone here procure some from local stables or in the know of places trying to get rid?

Gardener's; assemble. Manure question

A woman at work couldn't give me enough of it.

I am sure if you went to a stable yard they would let you muck out a stable or take it from the tip they usually have. I use to go up to Borrowby for mine but there are stables at the Unicorn Centre, Thornaby, Eston and Saltburn.

I am sure I might of missed a few off.

try the backroad near Treebridge Hotel. Stables there leave bags out for free.
You will want to let it rot down a bit before using.
