So, the season looks set to resume at last but sadly it will be behind closed doors. The games will be played out in the same order but only now it will be summer football in the empty stadia. Nine matches then to secure Championship safety for Jonathan Woodgate's Boro.

The re-start is the game originally called off just 24 hours in advance Boro v Swansea City will be played at the Riverside on Saturday June 20 (3pm).

Next we travel, or rather the team travels to a team that only recently revived from a poor season in Stoke City on Saturday June 27 (3pm).

This is followed by a first SKY televised game against struggling Hull City on Thursday July 2 (5pm).

Then it is QPR (ma lord) playing at the Riverside just three days later on the 5th July.

Following this and using football parlance the games come thick and fast.

Millwall away is three days later on 8th 7.45pm.

Then it is Bristol City at the Riverside on Saturday July 11 (3pm)

Midweek to Reading on Tuesday14th at 8pm.

The last home game will be Cardiff City on Saturday July 18 (3pm).

The end of the season and lets hope it is happy and not bitter end against Gary Monk's Sheffield Wednesday on Wednesday (when else?) July 22.

Apparently these dates and times are not all set in stone because games could be moved for TV cameras and the club site tells us that, “clubs can renegotiate kick-off times for non-televised matches, subject to final approval from the EFL.”

Thankfully, Season Card Holders will have access to watch every game via our matchday streaming service.
