Boro return to the Riverside hoping to get back to winning ways again. It was a disappointing week of results, the two games in London left us looking jaded. We need to be back on song and what better way then avenging that defeat at St Andrews. Kick off tonight is 7.45pm. It is chilly out so bring a hat.

Woodgate will not be able to freshen it up with any new faces as Friend and Shotton are both neither fit nor ready. With Ayala out it will fall to Dael Fry to keep former Boro target man Lukas Jutkiewicz under wraps. Lewis Wing should come in for Adam Clayton to give us more drive through the centre. Hopefully he can score a goal to light up the night as he did against Derby.

Talking of Derby lets hope we can get back to playing the delightful football we saw in the first half against the Rams. We need to be more clinical though to prevent late Ram raids to steal the points.

We were really disappointing at St Andrews where a late Daniel Ayala goal appeared to have got us out of jail. Only for us to back off and invite them on for a late, late winner.

Birmingham are one place below us in the league. A win tonight would put some distance between us. We have won 11 out of the last 13 meetings at the Riverside, so let's keep that formidable record going.

Not tonight Boro. Let's get back to winning ways and bounce forward again.

Come on Boro
