Saturday sees the arrival of the Wayne Rooney three ring circus into town. You would be forgiven for thinking he was the manager already. Phillip who? Boro take on Derby County tomorrow and look out for a new fanzine issue to mark the game and much else besides. Our 30 min podcast gives a preview and flavour of what is in store for you inside Issue 602.

Anyway, talking of managers that was a bit of a turn up and a great result for Jonathan Woodgate getting the manager of the month award. Thoroughly deserved it was too. Also a lesson there in keeping faith in what you have and holding fast to the decision made last summer.

There is a tribute in Issue 602 to Boro Boy Bari Chohan who has sadly passed away at the age of 69. A pioneer in the town and long time fan for well over half a century Bari was also a regular writer for the fanzine and his particular type of stats and experienced based insight will be much missed.

Back to the fanzine and we have our campaigning hats on, looking to raise money and awareness for the 44 Boro fans fighting their corner against Derby police for wrongful detainment and dispersal before the our game at Pride park in 2015. This was a bus of ordinary Boro fans, including management committee of a leading local charity. They were stopped by police and detained without refreshments or toilets for 6 hours without any reason being given. They are now making a stand for all Boro and all football fans that the same legislation cannot be adapted again to stop supporters going to a game.

We also feature an interview with Damian from Talk Today and hope this helps spread a path of hope, a positive way out for those that are experiencing really dark times and harbouring dark thoughts.

All this and far, far more in the podcast and the fanzine. Including a poetic tribute to the White Feather.
