Tonight for one night only at Stockton Arc there is a special screening of the quite brilliant Wedding Present documentary, Something Left Behind.

The crowd funded film explores how 30 years on the legacy of the Wedding Present album George Best is still alive and kicking and anyone tuning in to those hundred mile an hour guitar licks is immedately transported back to their youth again. Even those that were not there first time around.

Described as the “greatest break-up album of all time”, George Best album also had that iconic cover of the flawed genuis footballer.

Something Left Behind explores the music, obsession, love, loss and fading youth over the 30 year lifespan of The Wedding Present’s much-heralded debut LP, 'George Best'.

Co-produced by our very own CheshireBoro this film is being shown by his special request as he wants to donate all ticket sales to Boro related charities, thus helping disadvantaged families watch Boro games at the Riverside.

Heralded as one of the great rock documentaries, it is a cast iron guarantee that no one will leave Arc cinema tonight without a broad grin plastered across their chops.

Film starts at 7pm. Costs £8 and is 18+ ARC cinema, Stockton.

Here is a taster of the film
