Back to Boro back to Championship reality this weekend when Boro go to Carrow Road to take on Norwich City. Can Boro keep the momentum of the good start rolling on after the international break? Boro play at Norwich 3pm Saturday.

Boro finished on a high note before international interruption with a competitive and compelling 0-0 draw at Elland Road. Although we did not leapfrog the league leaders we matched them and indeed had the better of the chances. With new faces brought in on deadline day and the door slamming shut and preventing Martin Braithwaite's exit Boro have options aplenty ahead of the journey to East Anglia.

It will be hard to shift anyone from that industrious side at Leeds but Jordan Hugill should be closer to full fitness now and George Saville will be snapping at everyone's heels after signing on the line. His fellow Northern Ireland team mate Paddy McBride showed exactly what he is capable of after starring down the right flank along side Saville v Israel.

How can Tony Pulis drop any of our big three centre backs after their power shows of late. But new loan man, Danny Batth will be keen to make his mark as will Premier left sider, Sam McQueen.

So, suddenly there is a lot of extra competition to make it into Tony Pulis plans. The eleven starters will have to be on their toes at Carrow Road. Hopefully, another reason why we will avenge our defeat of last season when the ten men battled bravely but largely down blind alleys following the wrongful (and reversed) dismissal of Rudy Gestede. Talking of Rudy, how long before the big man is also back to 100% and pressing his claim also.
