Boro aim to bounce right back to the top of the league tonight but West Brom present formidable opponents. The Baggies swamped QPR 7-1 last weekend. Whilst Boro have won three on the bounce in the league. Something or someone has to give this evening at the Riverside. Don’t you dare miss it 7.45pm kick off. Up The Boro.

Tony Pulis looks to sink the early season hopes of his former club West Brom this evening. It is a team still stuffed full of Premier experience. But players that were relegated and got used to the losing habit, especially under the hapless Alan Pardew. Big Darren Moore picked them up with a late, late rally at the end of the season and they are still surfing on the crest of that revival now.

Can Tony Pulis keep Boro’s own feel good factor flowing this evening? Despite losing that big three of Gibson, Traore and Bamford our team spirit has never been in doubt. We pack a considerable goal threat through born again Britt and World Cup forward Martin Braithwaite. The three goal Dane must now stay on Teesside and keep our form flowing in front of goal.

Tony Pulis singled out Stewart Downing at this week’s press conference. The evergreen winger tore into Bristol City last weekend, his darting run and centre for the second goal was vintage play from the former England man. Class is permanent.

So, looking forward to a special contest tonight. Let’s battle v the Baggies and come out on top and leapfrog Leeds to go back on top of the League.

Come On Boro and Up The Boro.
