Fill the ground was manager Tony Pulis appeal to the good people of Teesside this morning. The team has prepared meticulously for this head to head with Aston Villa. It is bound to be a close tie we need every possible home advantage for the first leg,. Lets sell out the biggest game of the season. Come On Boro.

In 24 hours time we will be building up to an epic encounter as we come face to face with Steve Bruce's Aston Villa. They were pre season favourites much like us. They finished one place but 7 points ahead of us Yet Boro's form in the last month has been phenomenal. We have looked more than a match for everyone and anyone.

At Ipswich Boro showed bags of character, the team had the attitude and determination of not being beaten even 6 minutes into injury time. Momentum is the the prize now for that performance and result. Lets carry it into tomorrow's game. Fill that stadium. Make it the same cauldron of noise that terrified Brighton in our last promotion and frightened Brentford in the play offs semi the season before.

Many of our players have that play off experience. Most of our fans have too. There are a good few of us that know what it is like to support our team to a European final. We also are smart enough to know there is nothing quite like the knife edge tension of the promotion play offs.

Fill the stadium and help make Boro history and be part of something really special on Saturday night.

Up The Boro
