Boro fans woke up to another morning of snow business and wondered if tonight's crunch match at home to Leeds would go ahead. If so can we get back on the victory trail down by the Riverside?

The Riverside pitch is in fine fettle and the seats will be clear of all white stuff. There was no fresh snow fall last night and roads are all clear in town and around the ground but it is still not exactly March weather. The club have done everything in their powers to get tonight's fixture on, it might all rest with the weather forecast for tonight. But as of this moment it looks like we will be playing football.

Until told otherwise we will be selling a fanzine at tonight's fixture and hoping to support Boro beating Leeds and Leeds. Please spare a thought and a £1.50 for the friendly freezing fanzine seller. That silverwear might just warm his palm a little. He will need it because tonight he will be truly suffering for his art.

Boro need to take full advantage of the Traore reprieve and tag team him up with the revitalised Patrick Bamford. The Boro forward looked like the player of old, top scorer from 2015 in his second half display at Stadium of Light. He looks set to step up to fill the void left by Rudy Gestede's cruel injury. Can the dynamic duo combine to put Leeds to the sword?

Boro will need to tighten up at the back. We conceded three sloppy goals at Sunderland. Add to that a soft goal away at Cardiff, the only goal that separating us from a team on a real roll and chasing automatic promotion.

We need to avenge that costly defeat at Elland Road and kick on now at the expense of Leeds. Boro can warm up this winter's evening by putting on a display that signals lour intent to take that final play off place and end the season with hope in our hearts. And a Wembley showdown to target.

Boro need to brush off the snow and Paul Heckingbottom's Leeds and push onwards and upwards tonight.

Fly Me To The Moon on sale around the ground for £1.50 – please support a freezing fanzine seller.

Come On Boro
