Finally, having caught my breath after Saturday’s rollercoaster 3-2 victory over QPR I joined anchorman Alex Lewczuk and newbie Jack Thacker to celebrate and dissect the Riverside thriller.

We looked back over recent events, the 3-0 victory at Bolton, Adama Traore’s speedster success and then speedy dismissal at Aston Villa. Then we look forward to an equally quick return to Villa Park tomorrow in the cup with the strange name. By, we are going to enjoy making that journey again. Not. Hopefully there are no named storms this time to hamper the return up the old A1.

This is the latest edition of our FMTTM podcast when we talk Boro matters but keep it brief and round it all up in a short, sharp 20 minutes ‘ish podcast. We have been doing these recordings free for about a decade now for the hospital patients at James Cook and putting them out in podcast format for the wider Boro world to enjoy at their leisure. Usually they come out ahead of the monthly fanzine but this issue is instead a match report after the Riverside victory.

Yesterday’s episode also includes a special tribute to the late Paul Anderson. Click on player below or here
