United line up with 5 changes to the squad to tackle Southampton in the FA Cup third round match.

Welbeck and Berbatov start up front giving the youngster his second first team start for United. Nani starts on the right wing in place of Ronaldo, Anderson and Carrick start in the middle with Giggs resuming his position on left wing. Neville starts in place of Rafael, alongside Evans and Vidic in defence and O’Shea on the left all playing in front of Edwin Van Der Sar.

Kick off against the young Southampton squad is at 4pm today 4 January 2009 on Setanta Sports 1.With Manchester City out after defeat yesterday and Chelsea match ended in a draw after Southend equalised.

LATEST: FA Cup Fourth round draw

United who exited the FA Cup third round last season in a dramatic penalty decision when Kuszczak was red carded for tackling the striker and not playing the ball.

United or Southampton have drawn Tottenham  in the next round, so a victory away this weekend means United would have a home game against the London team in approximately 3 weekends time, over the weekend of the 24th of January.
