In case anyone hasn't noticed that Fola has posted manager stats under the goalscorers thread (I hadn't until tonight), here they are (I've added points per game and %age games won / lost):

Daryl McMahon P:25 W:4 D:12 L:9 GF:22 GA:35 (points per game 0.96) (losses 36%) (wins 16%)
Sol Campbell P:3 W:1 D:1 L:1 GF:5 GA:3 (points per game 1.33) (losses 33%) (wins 33%)
Danny Whitaker P:3 W:2 D:1 L:0 GF:4 GA:2 (points per game 2.33) (losses 0%) (wins 66%)
Mark Kennedy P:10 W:1 D:3 L:6 GF:8 GA:15 (points per game 0.6) (losses 60%) (wins 10%)

I doesn't look good, though the stats are a little bit skewed if Danny and Sol's assessments are only based on 3 games played.

I agree Macch....the meaningful comparison is between McMahon and Kennedy.

I'm not sure on MK yet, but it's early enough I think to continue with him. My view is the squad is lacking quality and changing manager again now would be reckless.

Stats are great to tell whatever story you want, and with some many dynamics in football it's hard to fully rely on them.

For example, MK's results above can't be disputed, and from a simple view of points on the board it is poor so far. But of the 10 games we've played under him, seriously how may points do people think we should have picked up? This is who we've played:
Colchester A - Lost
Crewe H - Drew
FGR H - Won
Newport A - Lost
Northampton H - Lost
Orient A - Drew
Morecambe A - Lost
Exeter H - Lost
Plymouth H - Drew
Crewe A - Lost

If you'd put that run of games in front of me I'd have realistically thought we could have picked up 7 points from beating Morecambe and taking points from Newport, Orient, FGR and Northampton. So in my eyes we're a point worse off than what I thought we realistically had a chance of getting.

He doesn't seem to have settled on a proper game plan yet, and has chopped and changed a bit, but with the squad he has at his disposal I just don't see how we can be expecting him to tear up trees after just 10 games.

Morecambe was the real disappointment in that run. Only saw the home games where we could/should have got 2-4 more points than we did.
