Just listened to 12 minutes of Mr Kennedy which sounded like the same report as the previous two games, nothing constructive or anything that suggests improvements in the next few games. (Like Groundhog Day)

Did anyone notice the "low profile" kept by Danny Whitaker today ?

It was certainly another terrible interview, full of contradictions and negativity.
He seems to want to exclude himself from any responsibility, heís done his job Monday to Friday but the players lose concentration and let him down Saturday.
Iíve got to say that the day any team in the world does exactly what the manager has instructed throughout the heat of battle for a whole game, will be a first.
Mark is responsible, a good manager will always accept that responsibility and support his group of players that are doing their very best, not spend his time highlighting players mistakes and piling more pressure on them.

Yes i noticed DWs 'invisibility'

Yesterday h collected the balls at the end of the warm up and I did not see him again.

When Sol was there DW was always up chatting to Sol and Steve Gritt.

Since MK arrived DW hardly ever involved in discussions on the touchline about what was going on.

Yesterday MK was swearing at someone on the bench and generally moaning towards the bench. No idea who was the target

Maybe the realization of what MK has let himself in for at our car crash club, with little organisation, and no support from the owner, is slowly beginning to dawn.

More bad results will simply ratchet up the pressure.

Three of the last six goals we have let in came from players caught ball watching. I thought so before I listened to the MK interview. One has to accept that MK was very open and I think all three players have a lot to offer the team.

Fluke yes Own Goal ? i must ahve been at a different game.
I think that the only similarity between Mark Yates and Mark Kennedy is their christian name .
Yates defended his players and one of his repetetive sayings was he wouldn't throw anyone under a bus which Kennedy will .
I think that is bad management on MKs part, by all means highlight the error in the dressing room but not in public as that leads to loss of trust from the players.
One of my fears with MK is that he is giving the players too much information and coaching and not letting them play with any freedom.

I was very impressed with him at first but I think he is letting it all get to him now and needs to keep some things to himself or in the dressing room. Thats not to say he's not a good coach but the circumstances aren't conducive to good judgement of his credentials. The good thing is we have a home game in hand in Tuesday and don't need to fear the opposition with our defence.

There is no lack of effort from his players. Every manager has their own style. At least he does say something in his interviews and gives the fans an insight into his thinking.

He took the blame for subbing Wilson early.

Positive at the start but the equaliser was DEFINIYELY due to Kennedy's tactics! Why do we defend a 1-0 lead at home when we were on top with so many attacking options?Ridiculous to bring off Tracey for Fitz, just nonsensical and pointless. And those who think Macc are good for a draw tonight, we could have been 3 up in the first half. On their day Macc can beat anyone in this league, we shouldn't give teams like Plymouth respect because they are a 'Big club. Sorry but we have dealt with much better opposition than that in the past.

A much better performance from the team tonight.

Our players had to work very hard against better players and some (playing on that surface) were getting knackered. Tracey's legs were gone early in the second half, Tollitt was knackered after 60, Arthur's legs were gone by the end.

And we were denied a more convincing pen first half than the one that was given. I don't know if theirs was a pen but the guy went down like he had been shot rather than fouled.

Why is Wilson on the bench if he wasn't ready for the situation just a few days ago? How could MK possibly have put him on as a sub after hooking him after 20 minutes? Where is Charles-Cook or any other sub-'keeper?

Bringing Fitz on made sense to me in that it gave Archibald more freedom to push forward on the left using his speed and strength while Fitz maintained a defensive presence behind him.

I've no real problems with the sub of Fitz to be fair. Maybe instead of moving Archibald further up we could have made another sub for more fresh legs at that end of the pitch.

I think simply we came flying out thr blocks, looked better, could have scored a couple more but we're not lethal enough, and then their quality basically took over and dominated the game. We naturally ended up sitting back as they had all of the ball.

Time Kennedy went the way of Yates - we only gave Yates a couple more games than we've given Kennedy and their results are pretty much the same

Much as I think DW isn't ready yet, it is time to just let him try his best without these "under-qualified" and frankly imagination lacking guys sitting above him

No problem with the Fitz sub IMHO. Theo was struggling defensively. He was allowed to move forwards His pace earns him a one on one with the keeper which nearly resulted in a goal late on. Donít think we were particularly negative. The first half pressing couldnít be sustained forever and Plymouth naturally came back into the game.

I think a lot if people on here are giving Plymouth too much respect and credit. Macc should have been 3 up easily. You can't defend 1-0 for 45 minutes of a game. Missed opportunity for me, I agree Archibald was allowed to get forward more but whats the point when the guy who would have benefited from that i.e. a striker was not there.

Plymouth are 31 points above us in the table. have a playing budget that must be 3 or 4 times the size of ours. Furthermore they had nearly as many fans as us despite having to travel 5 hrs for midweek fixture. Credit to Macc for outplaying them for much of the first half and creating chances throughout the game.

Not sure why MK didnít make a 3rd sub. Archibald looked a bit weary having not played much recently. I would have been inclined to use the pace of Wilson or perhaps Joe as we struggled to retain possession.

Though MK did fine and the players look 100% committed to the cause (as they have been all season)

HAT I think you are ignoring the splendid saves their goalie made which turned the game for them then they went on to show their undoubted class in possession and only scored from a rebound penalty. Nothing working with the effort and organisation unfortunately we can't buy class with small change.

Itís difficult to judge a manager because the bulk of his work, done on the training ground, is unseen.
However post match interviews give an insight to attitude and thinking.
I thought MK gave a much more carefully considered interview following the Plymouth game than after the previous defeat by Exeter, not just because the result was better but also he seemed much calmer, less angry. He needs to contain any anger felt towards the players, it is counter productive. Everyone makes genuine mistakes, even him.

Important thing is we aren't getting rolled over 4.0 and are getting near to the point a game target we need-survival is the key here and we can build and take risks next season assuming we have a better platform. We are also playing better football overall than a few weeks ago and matchday is once again n enjoyable experience.

I still think MK needs more time, he's come in with the club in a right mess. We're playing some decent stuff at times (2nd half against promotion chasing Plymouth), so there is some potential. However, he needs to stop trying to play Archibald as a left back, it's not working and is not his natural position.

MK can trot out all the excuses he likes, some genuine, some pitiful, but in the cold light of day we have gone from a good side dealt many harmful blows by our w****r of an owner and the EFL into a side that genuinely looks bewildered trying to play a game they are not comfortable with. It's about the NOW though and from what I saw yesterday MK has stifled the talent he has available, makes mystifying tactical decisions ( how on earth did we start with Arthur and Shilo but no Joe Ironside) and intimidates the team on the pitch by constantly ranting and displaying his exasperation from the touch line. He may be a good talker in interviews but he's a really very ordinary man manager and he needs to take a good hard look at his own performance rather than berating the players. He continually achieves the almost impossible and manages to make the team considerably worse than the sum of its parts. Can I stop banging my head against this brick wall now? It's starting to hurt.

There is no comparison between Mark Yates and Mark Kennedy - Kennedy has had a very difficult run of games, and whilst I have missed 3 games recently the first half against Plymouth was excellent. I actually didnt think we were that bad yesterday and but for 2 errors we might have got something from the game against a decent Crewe.

What I cannot fathom is how we cannot work out which way the wind is blowing when other teams (Morecambe) manage to deal with it pretty well. Surely it is basic common sense that with the wind behind you the ball will travel further and with it against you it will blow back towards you if you kick it in the air. If the keeper doesnt understand that then surely it is the managers job to tell him

I agree about the wind situation , with and against the wind it is better to try to play the ball to feet if possible.
When we have the wind the defence will not learn that a long ball for pacy forwards does not work, the ball runs away.
The wind dropped in the second half yesterday so Crewe did not have to show if they could play with a strong wind behind them.
I heard some fans complaining about the system yesterday , I wasn't one, it worked perfectly well on Tuesday .
Tracey was marked out of the game and Arthur had a shocker , both had good games on Tuesday.Horsefall had a poor game and was at fault for both goals .
The two good things about yesterday were the applause and tribute in memory of Harry Gregg and the return of Jack McCourt.
