Team thinking

I like how MK talks, his knowledge and his enthusiasm. He makes a lot of sense and he seems a really genuine chap BUT I think he needs to work on how he talks about the team when he is giving post match interviews and think about how he is communicating his philosophy.
When he talks about the team he should say things like US and WE not THEM and THEY. Successful teams succeed and lose together - they act as one.
Seems to me the manager is responsible for tactics and selecting players to execute those tactics .. if that doesn't happen HE is failing every bit as much as the players are. He can't distance himself from failure. He has to OWN the failures every bit as much as the successes.
If he can't get his messages across to the players then HE is failing to communicate properly or he's expecting too much.
Everyone talks so positively about the fabulous team spirit at the club ( and its evident that the players have something really special) but if we lose that then I fear for the future this season almost as much as I do about the inexplicable antics of the owner.

In the warm up at Morecambe I thought Mk would have got the team to do some specific work to get used to the conditions. With a high stand on one side and almost nothing on the other some understanding of the flight of the ball in the conditions could have helped.

You have both hit the nail on the head.

Based on Mitchell's kicking and the substitution of the one guy who was holding on to the ball, I'm not sure MK even thought about tactics.

Was he also having a running argument with Archibald in the second half?
