An absolute f*#c*#ng disgrace !

As a macc fan for nearly 40 years i never, ever thought it would come to this!
In my day when we were a million miles off dreaming of even been in the fa cup first round then going through those fantastic times (rotherham, carlisle etc etc ) we now get to the stage as a league team (which is another thing we couldn’t have ever dreamt of at one point!) we come to playing a bunch of kids !
AA is an absolute disgrace to himself , football and life! and so are the fa!!
I remember years ago rochdale playing macc at the moss and coming in the silkman pub with buckets to keep their club afloat, we have a petition apparently , when i tried to sign it , it said there was no signatures and no one had signed it! (Block on social media?) !
Its about time everyone started spreading the word, bombarding the club, fa, friends, family etc etc before its too f&*#ng late!

Yes we need a lead from the SST on this. Money needed to be put directly into players pockets. And groundsman no white lines or prep yesterday.

I think the SST are not the way forward at all. Proven time and again to be ineffective as a group. It’s not a personal criticism of individuals more a realisation that it is a spent force when dealing with an person that seems to have scant regard for anyone connected with the club.

We need a new way., could already be too late sadly

I totally agree With what ES said on another thread. The SST has access to help and advice which could be effective. There are buttons to press. I have no active involvement but something needs to happen.

The SST have regularly asked other people to come forward with ideas or been happy to aid another group. The problem is that any organisation with a 66% shareholder has no control in forcing the 66% shareholder to change his mindset if he has no desire to do so

In many ways I agree with ES in that the SST has become ineffective in the current situation. It should be the SST leading the way in calling for a boycott of the club.

The one big incorrect decision, thankfully now reversed, was when the SST stopped buying shares. If they can get 10% of the shareholding they can call an EGM. Then questions can be asked.

There are four things I would like to see happen.

1. People to join the SST to bump up numbers and get a unified fans voice.

2. The SST identifies people with large share holdings and see if they can cobble together a shareholders alliance with 10% or more of the shares and call an EGM.

3. There are several local councillors who are fans of the club. Arrange a meeting with them to see what, if anything the council can offer.

4. Contact the Sealeys and get on board with them.

Finally, at the moment regardless of what people think about them I believe the SST have a substantial five figure sum sat in their bank accounts. This sum could be used to set up a phoenix club if the worst came to the worst, which with the councils help would play on the Moss.

Therefore I would encourage all fans to drop their whinges about the SST and get behind them as they are the only fans group with the financial clout to start again.

A supporters trust is only as strong as its membership, you really need to get behind them, if you had 1500 members AA would listen, good luck.

If we had 1500 members that would be more than our actual attending fan base 3 years ago. So I think 1500 is rather optimistic

Wise pragmatic words from Black Knight. Carping about the SST (especially from the vantage of a fat ar5e sat on a stool in the spoons) isn't going to get us anywhere. It was all done to death on the podcast tbh. Thank god there are still people willing to donate their time for the common good despite the scorn of the owner.

Ok BK but rainy day funds are no good if they are not used. This is a rainy day ffs and the time to use them is now! A Phoenix club would be impossible with no ground.

Some of you will be aware that SST members own shares under their own name, as they already owned them when we formed the SST. One or two are major shareholders. Pooling the SST shares and the SST mambers shares would i stand to be corrected take us way past 10%.
Is there something here worth pursuing...
