According to the Daily Mirror the players have agreed to play tomorrow - is this correct?

This isn't the only thing which will assure the game takes place, surely? The pitch will have to be mowed and marked out, stewards will have to be hired and deployed, turnstiles will have to be manned. PA available for safety announcements, etc. Has all this been arranged, then?

That’s what I was thinking. It requires the attendance of a considerable number of people for the game to start. The groundsmen haven’t been paid and will not be attending , what about the ticket office, turnstiles, physio, doctor (?), safety staff, catering , stewards etc. Can’t all be volunteers - are they still being paid ? Can see this being called off late on .

I really hope that we have all the elements in place to ensure the game goes ahead for the sake of Kingstonian fans who face a 200 mile trek early Sunday morning to get here.

Surely Andy Worth or another SST board member will know how many of our match day staff are paid or volunteers? And of the above, how many are on or are likely to strike against tomorrows game?
