If the players are indeed currently refusing to train and/or play in matches then the club needs to make an official statement to that effect. I won't hold my breath!! This is not a right/wrong post but fans from away like myself who would wish to support the team need to make arrangements for Sunday travel. (sitting back and waiting for the abuse[:D]!!)

I completely agree. Sadly though, we know the lack of communication skills that Amar has in his locker. Probably another admin error or keyboard fault out of his control.

Any other club, properly run would have announced something or made some kind of statement. The bloke running our club is a grade A clown.

K's fan here. I agree with what you have said in terms of Sunday arrangements.

We have a couple of fans coaches coming up and looks like over 200 people booked in the away seats already. The players are travelling the night before (with the high relative cost that entails for a non league club and a growing fixture backlogue with FA Trophy probably Wednesday of the following week). The fans coaches are due to set off a bit after 7am on the Sunday with a similar start time if people are getting the train.

I appreciate that the players and staff getting their wages out of the club may come down to last minute pressure and a game of poker and they may decide not to strike anyway but I do hope the players could make a decision and set a deadline by, say, Friday night if possible.

Obviously if there is still a chance of success/talks over the weekend then I wouldn't be expecting anyone to risk an early decision to strike/not strike but I hope they at least are aware of the problems created for away fans who don't know what is going on.

This rumour came about from something one person posted - "Heard this rumour. If true, do you support them and agree with them refusing to play at the weekend?"

That is the only indication that there is a strike.

LV, sure about that? BBC, Sky Sports, etc are reporting this. Ks, think the prize money for advancing would at least cover the expense aspect.

If it is a rumour or not the club should be clarifying the position as per the title of the post.
Many fans are witholding buying tickets as they don't want to be in the position of having to fight to get their money back because of this situation.

Extremely valid post richardbajor. I sincerely hope somebody/bodies shows due consideration to the away support and makes a decision in good time to save the major problems the Kingstonian players, staff and supporters would experience through a late cancellation.

Another K’s fan here. I am flying in from Spain for the weekend to see this game so an early announcement on what is happening would be appreciated although I booked my flights a week ago so will not be able to cancel them anyway and so lose out.

I am in awe of the grim determination shown by the OS to refuse to acknowledge that any of this is actually happening.

They would probably be unwilling to confirm that today is Thursday without receiving written authorisation from AA first.

I don't know whether to buy a ticket for Sunday or not, I need formal direction from the club on this issue. The default position is I won't risk it because I will lose my money.

I am in the same position as Leeds Blue and will be a walk up if the game is on .
A decision will have to be made one way or te other by Saturday to stop Kingstonian travelling

Nothing about Sunday yet but I see the OS has an article on its support for Responsible Gambling Week.

Responsible behaviour #1 being "Only spend what you can afford" [rle]

Has anyone been to the club or rung in about tickets and actually spoken to anyone there ? May nip in myself tomorrow to buy a ticket provided there’s some proper communication as to whether it will be on.
Mind boggling that there is nothing online from the club. Feel sorry for the K’s fans who’ve made arrangements to buy tickets and travel plans ,and also our own supporters who don’t live locally.

According to the BBC article "Some staff members are also on strike." So perhaps there is no-one there to make an announcement.

On Facebook Mike Minay from Radio Manchester has wrote that Sealey has told BBC RM sport that he has a meeting with the club tonight
He adds that It's something we are interested in and we are pursuing it currently .
However does say that they are still yet to do due diligence.

Can’t imagine how difficult Amar is to deal with in a meeting. All his vague and empty answers. He’d probably manage to disappear into thin air half way through and blame it on the banking system.

I think the fans of both clubs, who are looking forward to an exciting 1st Round cup tie (I certainly am), will draw their own conclusions if anything happens to prevent it without any information being disseminated.

Let's just stop and think. If the club make an announcement(FA Cup) now, they stand to be kicked out, this year and next and fined. If they wait the game, quite possibly, could be postponed due to the pitch not being playable. Still be in the cup and hopefully resolve the dispute before the rearranged date.
