there are non. Weíre down.

Gutless again from every single player, and Solís decisions are baffling at best. Everyone from boardroom to players and coaches should be ashamed

Good to have Pearson back at right back.

Far more negatives, unfortunately.

That 6 point gap is like a yawning chasm now. We were lacking the guile, skill and organisational nouse of Danny W today. No one seemed to take charge in midfield and whip people up. We seemed second (or third and fourth) to nearly every ball, and some of the passing was aimless.

We have to win at least five of those, and with Campbell in charge can anyone see that? He makes Yates look competent.

Win on Tuesday night and beat Yeovil away next Saturday and we will be on equal points with them. Just about possible?

Sol has now seen most of his squad in match conditions so the next two games are massive for him and us letís hope he gets the selection right!

Danny Whitaker knows where to put cones for the pre match drills and where to stand next to Sol [:O][sad][rle].

Kind regards

Remember Aldershot and Tranmere turned the season on its head, similar two games coming up. Enter Elliott.

Elliot is not match fit and was frustrated clearly at lack of balltime from his teammates. He should have been introduced on the hour mark for impact. As the game progressed he was less effective. Madness not starting Harry Smith. Where is Wilson? Marsh?why is Danny not getting in. Why is he left to exercise already unfit players in the halftime break to further exhaust rather than let them recuperate a further few mins. Macc have no presence, no leaders on the pitch, no one to turn to, no plan, no charisma, no desire, no realisation of other teams players positions, no idea how to distribute the ball from the back, no play building ability, no strike force, a midfield with its backs to the opposition's goal, no attacking confidence whatsoever...we can all see what the problems are, we might see a better game against Hollyoaks and Emmerdale rejects if we're lucky. Hopefully this whole League 2 charade is over soon so we can try and plan for next season properly. Hopefully with a proper Manager. Blower,Amar,Campbell,Cole...OUT

Sadly I have to agree with everyone that yesterday was a very dark one, made even worse by wins for Cheltenham, Crawley, Morcambe and Vale so as I search the dark clouds, a silver lining is difficult to find.
Nevertheless, Notts County were beaten 4-1 at Cheltenham and Yeovil lost on Friday, I don't have to remind anyone that we need only to finish above two teams to avoid the drop, no minimum points required, these two are currently the best candidates.
Something out of next weeks game and then a win at Yeovil would make things look different. The Yeovil fixture is massive if we are to retain hope, a big ask but still possible.

We signed players who have had a history of injuries and hence need time to bed in, fans are not patient enough for them to get up to match fitness and we donít have the time in terms of needing points, the same applies to the players from last season, either they are not good enough at this level or need time to get ďmatch fitĒ, these players are afford more patience by the fans but clearly are not yet ready, much evident in the performances of Lloyd and on each time he has returned Evans. Durrell a real match winner at this level clearly looks like he will need several games to get somewhere near his personal and physical best, again something we do not have, the same would apply to DW who would need game time, itís a sorry picture that started pre season with off field activities from the lack of a manager to not even getting replica kits correct, what a wasted opportunity 😩

We desperately need a win from the Exeter game now.

Vale play Yeovil on Tuesday so either one or t'other will get 3 points, or they will both get one (obviously).

At the moment we just seem to keep chopping and changing, and nothing is working.

OK .. a few opinions / bits of speculation ...
Positives?
Pearson - it pains me to say it, but after Jared's last couple of performances, Pearson looks like our best RB for the run-in (as long as he can stay fit)
Jules - proved we have 3 decent CBs for the run-in
Lloyd - worked harder than anyone else on the pitch, clearly demonstrated that he is a better option than either Cole or MayXXXXXX

Sol has now seen nearly all of his squad play competitively (Mullings and Vincenti apart?)

Negatives:
Nine changes and funnily enough we played like strangers
Too many players who are not good enough
We have no adequate cover for Smith / Wilson other than Voldemort Marsh
Lack of match fitness across such a large squad
The half time team talk

Martis is no where near good enough, very fast and direct but has no final delivery.
Evans gave the ball away albut probably twice yesterday and was guilty of not even trying to get it back after he gave away a simple pass a number of times.

We have to play our strongest team regardless of fitness, getting a good 65/75 out of our better players that may still be lacking match fitness is better than any other amount of time with the other players. Fact.

You omitted a few of Danny's Assistant Manager responsibilities PB.

He seems to have responsibility for sending the subs for a run up the touchline, AND not only delivers the piece of paper to the 4th official when we want to make a substitution, but is also the one that asks him/her, how many more minutes there are left as we approach the 90.
