Our position is such that we must get points from the next two home games. They are not the easiest with MK Dons and Exeter City both in the play-off positions. But I would say that 3 points is the minimum, 4 would be good and 6 would be fantastic.
Let's hope that Durrell, Whitaker and Evans play some part.

It all depends on Sol. Will he pick the likes of Whit, Durrell, Evans, Stephens, Lloyd and others? I doubt it.

I hope that he will pick the players mentioned but he seems very stubborn so I would expect more of the same.

We don't look too bad at home and the crowd gets behind them- we just need to take our chances and get a lucky break. It will be helped by good selection and substitutions of course. Sol needs to take on board the comments and eat some humble pie rather than being the big I am.

Heard on good authority that Whit doesn’t figure in sols playing plans anymore which is hard to believe. I hope this is wrong but I feel it is correct..

If this is true I suggest Campbell is making a mistake. Danny Whitaker still looked one of the best and fittest players in the squad just a few months ago. He will be really keen to retire on a high note and would help inspire the rest of the team who do not have his historical connection with the club.
It's all very well taking a longer term view but we have just eleven games left to retain our Football League status. Danny should play at least for part of a game to see what he can do.

So on good authority "Whit doesn’t figure in Sols playing plans anymore"
- and on another thread I'm also reading...
"Apparently he won't even consult with Whit on team selection"
- so what is our Player/Assistant Manager's role?

The only job he seems to be trusted with, is to send the subs on the bench for a run up the touchline. Oh and to deliver the piece of paper to the 4th official - that's if we make any subs of course!

Have it on almost the highest authority that Whits is not being considered for a playing role owing to the fact Campbell does not have an assistant.

We can only assume that Whit has been out and injured so long and combined with his other coaching/assistant duties, he is nowhere near match fit. However we do need nvolvement from Durrell , Evans, Stevens and Lloyd.
We have a mountain to climb now and need at least 4 points from these two home games, it's time to gamble, make or break.

I'm less bothered about Danny Whit playing than I am about Durrell. Hopefully Sol's thinking has been that he didn't want to risk Duzza at Bury, give him another week training and so he is more likely to make an impact in two crucial home games.
