The result tonight is less important than coming away with no more injuries. Yes it would be a good boost for DW, NH and the team if we played well but the next few league games are far more important. Might be better if we went out of the checkatrade which is only really useful for giving fringe players a chance and we haven't got many of those to spare at the moment. Having said that, I will be there to show support to the new management team.

It will be a good first run out for DW as new manager, without the pressure.

DW isn't the new manager. The club statement appoints DW and NH as joint 'caretakers'.

I view the result tonight as totally irrelevant, and our new twin supremos should be using the game to learn as much as they can about the players before Mickey Mouse makes way for a genuinely significant game on Friday.

With all due respect, Iím not really getting the Howarth thing, surprised he didnít go with Yates as he will anyway when MY turns up at another club and what influence will he actually have, heís had more than enough time with us to show what he can do as an AM, so what are you expecting from him? Dannyís interview was quite telling......ĒNeil has his ideas and I have mineĒ......something to that effect suggesting Danny doesnít agree with Neilís and I would suggest Neil as AM had more influence than Danny this season to date. The conundrum is Danny is and has been our best player and on that basis I wouldnít want him to take the helm at this moment in time (during his injury itís fine) Danny needs to learn his trade in management/coaching once he hangs up his boots and he doesnít need to expediate this. If we could get Watson Iíd be happy as a pig in xxxx Danny could back him up as the no1 AM for me all day long........Danny will manage this club one day but should be when heís ready, not when heís forced. Donít hang them up just yet Dan!
