Per the OS, there has been a 37% increase in the sale of STs compared to this time last season.

Match day ticket prices have been 'reviewed', with no advance purchase discount given.

Adult seating = £22. Adult standing = £15.

The match day price increase is a sensible decision. £15 is still very cheap for an adult at L2 level and £22 is fair value at this level. The prices for over 65, U25 and kids still good value.

37% increase is encouraging, but I think we sold very few STís last season - so it is an increase on a fairly small base number.

£20 for adults would have been a nice price and £12 for u25 is over double what it was last season. Again £8/9 would have been nice just to keep it under a tenner.

Stop complaining - its a 140% increase for 18-25s. [;)]

I think overall it's a good call by the club. £15 fro adult standing must be one of the cheapest in the league

Donít forget that when ď gorgeous George ď first became
Chancellor many years ago the first thing he did was increase VAT , and unlike many clubs Macc did not then increase prices - so since then , despite inflation we have actually got less per fan , so increases now can certainly be justified.

I think every fan, young or old, would like to think that he or she is getting decent value for money, but I suppose that depends to a large extent on how well (or otherwise) we play.

To some degree the club needs to 'make hay while the sun shines', and the increases (Sorry, reviews!) made don't seem to be OTT.

If they announced some more contract re-signings they might improve that number of ST.

I would think that the £22 price tag for a seat will meet some resistance and not too many will get sold on match days. £15 to stand may not turn fans off to the same degree. So I predict fuller terraces but empty seats in the stands...unless of course most of them have been snapped up already by season ticket holders of which a significant proportion are over 65s.

I think that £22 is around the figure most clubs in our Division charge for seating, and if we are to remain competetive I can understand the reason for the increase, but this has lead to quite a discrepancy in seating and standing prices.
As BB says some fans may decide to stand to save money but we will only find out when the season is up and running.
