I thought 1464 was a bit disappointing yesterday after 1771 for Solihull and 1699 for Torquay.

The weather wasn't great, and only 78 from Guiseley, but it still seemed a bit of a slump.

Just remind me again. Who's top of the league?

You never know what you're going to get by way of entertainment when the boys run out on the pitch.

In some games we're exciting to watch, and at other times we look like we've never played together before

The casual fans will probably come along when the going is good, and not bother if we hit bad form.

I agree, the attendance was very disappointing considering we are again top of the league.

300 down on the last home game, can't help thinking the nonsense of the last two weeks has had an effect on the attractiveness of watching MTFC?

I really hope the Macc public still believe we can do it!

Think the rugby has a lot to do with it
Especially when they looked outside first thing.

On a more positive note, average home league gates to date (1590) are up by 9.2% on the whole of last season (1456).

Yes Beefburger I can't help thinking that fans are going to be reluctant to part with their hard earned cash if they can't be sure where their money is going. I would be filled with Joy and my cup would runneth forever if the wage debacle proved to be no more than a glitch. I somehow doubt that it will be.

Shocking weather, poor performances previous two home fixtures and on paper unattractive opposition, never mind the debacle off the field = drop in attendance.

Home support of under 1400 for a team top of the league is disappointing. Our season average of 1586 puts us 14th in the attendance table with the average gate for the National Premier at about 2000. If we maintain a promotion challenge and as the weather improves then the gates for the final few home games will probably go up, so our final season home average could reach about 1700 I would think. If we fall away I can see the final average being below 1500.
