Your favourite boys in blue grace the hallowed turf of the Moss Rose for the 2015/16 season in the newly named Vanarama National League starting with back to back fixtures against the Wings of Welling and the Sandgrounders of Southport following the tricky away tie on the English Riviera. Neither the Wings or the Sandgrounders are expected to give the higher echelons of the Vanarama National League to much of a presence during the course of the 2015 /16 season but as Macc proved last season there will be a team that defies the odds and one of these two may well be that team!!

Trafford's (not so) finest visit just after Bonfire Night and I sincerely hope that the Silkmen still have plenty of fireworks to ignite Alty's already desperate season into the stratosphere of catastrophe!!! The Christmas home fixture is a far more attractive proposition for the Silkmen faithful with the visit of arguably the biggest club in our division this season; Tranmere Rovers who are a far more attractive offering than that which was offered last year when the Mariners of Grimsby descended upon the Moss Rose and stole a very scrappy 1-0 win!!

The final home game of the season sees the Silkmen entertain Cheltenham Town and let's hope this season we have already secured a play-off place at the very least, or even better a place in the class of 92 for the 2016/17 season.

So the boys are back in town for the following home fixtures of the Vanarama National League of the 2015/16 season which will be 3pm on Saturdays and bank holidays and 7:45 pm for evening fixtures. These are of course subject to change as the season progresses but we will update the fixtures as needed:
