That's it folks positivity. Even we aren't allowed to go in the stadiums next season. The games will still be televised, so we will still be able to see them.

If you’ve just spent the last 5 weeks watching your favourite team (LCFC) on tv, the prospect of more of the same coming seen hardly fuels ‘positivity’

Snooty it wouldn't of been any different if you gone and watched them live then. We finally broke the usual top six up, we have European football, we have a young and exciting team and we have a very good manager what is not to be positive about. All that cost us last season was squad size which hopefully we will rectify next season.

It doesn't concern me as I'm not a season ticket holder but will ST holders be able to watch the games on TV etc when the inevitabe announcement of "No spectators all in 2020/21 season" is made

Won four in the second half of the season
Could not beat Watford, Brighton or Bournemouth in the last nine games
Your positive stance is not based on facts[:D]

A couple of decent additions and a good rest for the lads will see us back there.
The season tailed off because the youngest lads were all in the middle of the park and they did not yet have a full season in them.
Having said that, all the stress related and bizarre incidents at the end were from our most experienced players, odd that...

Your deluded Daz if you think ‘ALL’ that cost us last season was squad size. It was equally the fault of the manager you describe as very good.

Was he responsible for players making mistakes, missing chances, or ill discipline or simply lack of form?

I genuinely don't see what BR could have done much different as his player pool began to disappear. Perhaps you could enlighten me..

Daz, was he responsible for having ndidi & choudhury on the pitch at the same time against relegated Watford?
Was he responsible for starting the home game against the mighty Brighton With ndidi & mendy?
Was he responsible for starting the must win ( “cup final”, Rodgers words) game against Man Utd with ndidi & choudhury?
Enlightening enough for you oadlad, I’m sure it won’t be.

This coming season will be the death knell of modern football. No crowds just the boring empty plastic football that no one can relate too. It's finished, football without the crowds is like Bernie Winters without Mike having to substitute it with a great big slobbering ugly smell sh*tting dog. finished I tell you.

Well it would be if you hang your hat on three selection decisions.
I concede he was over cautious against the lower teams but made sense against MU and only unravelled with the penalty and only failed with Watford's late goal.
Fine margins revealed by hindsight.
The real issue was a squad with not enough 'legs' to see out a long season. But he did not pick the playing squad...

Oadlad, I didn’t go back any further than post lockdown, ( 3 from only 9 games)
I’m sure If I could be bothered to think back further he did it a good few many more times, & you know he did.

You ever thought Ess that he probably played those because the other were struggling. They monitor everyones fitness. Like Oadlad says there wasn't much more the manager could do with the players available and fitness issues.

Oadlad - Bournemouth, that's what he could have done differently and that is what ultimately did for us.

So strange you cannot see his faults.

Yes, Bournemouth was for me the game which was the season's nadir.
I do not put it down to the change at halftime as it is simplistic to suggest that a team can be wrong footed to that extent by a substitution, particularly one at halftime.
I think the answer lays in the respective halftime chats. Howe's call to arms did the trick for them and whatever was said in our dressing room did not.
I reckon that we were so superior in the first half that we went out with the view that the game was in the bag.
This does not shift the blame away from BR as he is responsible and paid to judge a teams mood.
And, as I said earlier, it was the experienced players who crumbled in a mental sense (as at the MU game) which is
the real issue to address for a manager.
If it was a season a couple of weeks too long what does that suggest for next season with all those Europe games?[:O]
