Just heard David Hendon say that he's received a tweet from a snooker fan who is in the Graduate pub round the corner from the Crucible with another 150 snooker fans who aren't allowed in to sit in 2 metres apart comfort yet can get as pi55ed as farts watching the snooker on the telly

He was The Stute based in the early days, My grandad was the steward of the Constitutional Club and used to let him practice all day on a Sunday when the club was shut

Yes, Reg used to be in the club all the time, His dad used to iron the tables for my Grandad. Norman was a superb snooker player but was pushed into Billiards by Reg, big mistake... Norman had all the frilly shirts way before Alex Higgins etc
