It has to come from Rodgers, no manager worth their salt would except that behaviour

Stopped playing and waved his arms in frustration instead of trying to block the cross for their winner as well.

As long as they concentrate on their job for 90 minutes doesn't matter what happens after 90 minutes after all most footballers are friends so if they want to smile with there mates then why not because for players it's only a job after all. Like any of us after having a rubbish day at work we go home to our families or having a laugh and joke with our mates.

No you donít, & do you know why? Itís because they hate it & rightly so.

I don't care who you are or who your mates are 30 seconds after you have lost a cup quarter final to be laughing and smiling like that is disgraceful. Chilwell is massively overrated and if Chelsea want him and will pay the figures being bandied about they are welcome to him. If anyone saw Tierney play for arsenal earlier in the day you will have seen someone who cares and who can actually play that position. Chilwell is blagging a living from us. Go.

Lay off Chilwell and grow a pair - no modern player is going to break down in tears after a lost cup game unless its a world cup or Champions League final

90% of them don't give a fcuk - they are professional players, making a living out of the game

The days of Heskey & Lineker, where they are Leicester lads and LOVE the club, doesn't happen any more

I also saw Demarai Gray and tammy Abraham having a hug and a chat after the game - many of these young lads are mates from England duty, so I am not angered or upset they are not squaring up to each other after the final whistle

That's modern football innit

TBH I don't this it is an attitude problem - players are trying (Evans and Soyunchu are playing formidable defence) and Kasper has kept us in many recent games with great goalkeeping

I think it's more tactics and style of play to get the best out of our star players, Vardy, Maddison, Chilwell, N'Didi and Tielemans.

Plus, undoubtedly, we need some more potent striking options

yes it is Wombat, but when you've got a manager doing everything wrong your head drops and you also have an excuse for losing. Not saying that they want to lose, just that you lose that 5% which is the difference from good sides to under achievers.

All that bullsh*t played on the screen before home games with Chilwell growing up in the Leicester shirt and almost weeping as he gives his scarf away to a girl fan makes me puke. Word is he is a Chelsea fan and his attitude today bears that out.

It's absolute nonsense to say that 90% of the City players don't give a toss whether they win or lose a game. Contrast Schmeichell's countenance after the game with that of Chilwell. They should all have been hurting after we had just blown the chance of getting to a first F.A. Cup semi-final for 38 years and my reasonable assumption is that 90% of them were.

Chilwell's attitude was a disgrace. He has been poor all season and should have been dropped long ago. We have a first-class option available in Fuchs, a Premier League title winner who always gives 100 percent and is still as fit as a fiddle.

what troubles me is that Rodgers seemingly can't see this which to me labels him as a weak man-manager.

How many people actually watch Man U/City, Spurs, Chelsea and Wolves players actually walking off the pitch after a defeat?
Can anyone really claim they are never laughing and smiling with fellow International players from the opposition?

Verve Fuchs isn't capable of getting up and down the pitch for the full 90 minutes whereas Chilwell is. The way we play our full backs are the ones to give us width that is why Ricardo and Chilwell out your first choice fullbacks both have incredible engines and can defend and attack (we have the second best defense in the league)

What use is running up the pitch if all you do is run the ball out of play, kick it out of play or over hit the cross?

Chilwell does defend well occasionally but too often he is either caught out of position or left for dead. Too often we'll concede because he just doesn't get the basics right. Yet, because he goes forward a lot, too often with no end product but that doesn't seem to matter to some people, and has a "good engine", somehow he's the real deal. Baffling.

Yesterday Stephen Warnock was banging on about how Chilwell was a better player generally and a better defender than Alonso and would be an upgrade for Chelsea. Seriously?

The one time I do remember him having an all round decent game was the 4-1 at Southampton but that's because he was played further forward and didn't have the same defensive responsibilities

Chilwell is brillaint in the air for a full back.

He really needs to work with Fuchs on how to defend, the difference in the two of them stark. Fuchs makes himself big and will do everything possible to prevent the ball coming over.

ATM Chilwell hasn't mastered that art.

Wombat why exactly should we lay off Chilwell ? He has been underperforming for months and so deserves criticism. As has been said having a good engine does not make him a top premier league player. Defensively he is exposed time and time again and his end product when going forward is usually to be found in the stand. He gets paid well and he needs to perform.

Basics of defending - stop the cross and close the man down .

Every team targets our left side as he does neither of the above .

9/10 of his crosses are over hit as well.

Problem is scoops its never just one persons fault for a goal. Barnes should of helped Chilwell out and not leave him isolated. Evans should of got closer to Barkley.

Daz, ndidi left Barkley for the goal.
Plus your opinion of chilwell being head & shoulders better than Fuchs is utterly bizarre. In the main Fuchs limited game time these last couple of years has been 1st class & its always been a very strange decision to bring chilwell back in the team once Fuchs has played.
Try watching football without having a perceived idea first.

I agree Daz, he had no help from HB but could still have closed down the man with the ball instead of waving his arms around and doing nothing to stop the cross.

Itís not a one off though , every team targets our left as they know heís not up to it and gets dragged out of position too easily.

Ess, I admit that Fuchs is a slightly better defender at the moment but the way football is now and the way we play the full backs have to get up and down the pitch on a regular occasion which sorry to say Fuchs can't do its a thing called age. Take Newport in the cup, Fuchs was given a run around by a League two winger.

Thought you just said fuchs was a better defender & then you say that about the Newport winger.
Whatís the point in bombing up & down the pitch if you create nothing when you get there?
Remember the chelsea away game early on in the season where Fuchs was up & down the pitch the whole of the 2nd half? Doesnít sound like you do.

He does get assists though and he's now starting to score goals. Tell me then Ess if he is no good why were pep and Klopp interested in him and now Lampard plus Southgate likes him, also our two last managers like him aswell. He's probably going to be one of these players that either you like or not. Regarding Fuchs yes still a good player for a game or two but not 46 like I said not his fault I still say after Robertson and Trent Alexander we have the two best full backs both of them would grace any of the big six teams.
