There is an excellent graph published last night by the New York Times. Unfortunately itís not possible to provide a link, but if you google ďcoronavirus daily tracking NYTĒ it is the top result.

The graph compares death rates per day per country, measured from the day of the 25th death, on a logarithmic scale. The data is drawn from the Johns Hopkins Univ database, which appears to be the global standard.

I donít think it includes data for 25 March yet, but in the UK the most recent trend is slightly encouraging, in that the rate of growth appears to be flattening marginally. You can see that China has flattened right off, Spain and Italy very sadly showing no signs of slackening

The NYT maps are excellent.

I've been creating some logarithmic charts for work, but can't share them sadly.

The situation in Spain is looking bad at the moment. Not helped by the abandoned care home deaths. That was terrible news to read about.

You can get something similar to the NTY chart on the following link:

Covid-19 doesn't only kill the old.

Also it is the measures taken to protect society, which will show some countries doing better than others. There are also factors such as climate, or in Germany where the average age of those infected is far lower etc.

Computer Fox, interesting that, especially Australia. From what you hear about it being such an idyllic country and place to live Iíd have expected a much higher amount of over 65ís still living there than there are.

Why would anyone hoping to be taken seriously, post medical graphs from a website called 'the visual capitalist'?
