No, we have played them the last 2 times in Europe. Personally would be great to get some different but top class opposition.
Either of the Milans, Juventus, Bayern or Dortmund would be more interesting imo.

Sounds like they played a blinder. Got in front early then played pretty defensive all game, so much so that LiVARpool didn’t have a shot on target all game.

They kept them from getting an away goal.

Score in the second leg and LiVARpool will need three.

I’d love it if they were knocked out. I think we all would.

“Yeah........you wait til you come to Anfield” [:O]

Bit of an odd reaction from a ‘top class’ manager

Hard team to break down he blanked Liverpool out of the game and there ace winger was useless,so Klopp can expect the same plan at Anfield Simeone is well known for his defensive set-upsand his tricks

Having experienced what Atletico can do away from home, we know what Liverpool might expect. If Liverpool think these guys will be intimidated at Anfield they're likely to get a big surprise. I suspect these streetwise brawlers will actually relish the atmosphere. They'll not wilt like others have. Of course, if Liverpool play like they can then they could steamroller most teams. I just think Atletico can get that away goal and ride any storm.

I think it’ll be similar to our game with them in 2017. Atleti are not playing well and the scallies are playing out of their skin but they won’t get away with it every time they need to overturn a result at home. Depends on how much the ref allows the Spaniards to brawl.
I checked and it was Saul who scored at our place.
