The gap is closing

I hear a lot about Man Utd, Spurs, arsenal etc having bad seasons, that why we are up there. I don't agree. I truly believe that apart from Liverpool, the rest of the league are pretty close and most teams can beat each on any given day.

Us so called middle clubs are now reluctant to sell players, we actually buy recognised players instead of unknowns.

Norwich for example are not poor, yes they are bottom, but most seasons there are a lot worse than them.

I think being third is a major achievement and if we qualify for the CL then it will be even bigger.

You can look at some of our games and think we should have done better, but this closing of the gap forces this. If you'd have offered me a draw at Chelsea and Wolves i would've took it, so no complaints. I remember too clearly losing them games.

Give me another draw Saturday and I'll be happy.

Ive a feeling well do alright on Saturday.

For our aspirations of a top three finish, a Man Ure win was the best result on Monday night. It means we extended our lead over Chelsea by a point.

Nobody yet has been able to quote how the prize money for the top six will be shared now the overseas income is being split between the top six clubs, a move which surely was meant to further strengthen the established.
