Got a lot of time to kill due to recovering from an op.
The wife has Netflix, can anyone recommend anything to watch as I usually don’t watch films or take any notice of film reviews etc.
I’ve started with ‘The Irishman’ which I thought was ok as deNiro is a great actor and it killed three hours...

loads of great stuff on there..

Rick and Morty is quite funny if you like big ideas like alternative universes etc...

Just watched the behind the scenes of Andy Kaufmann played by Jim Carey documentary. Really interesting how some go so deep into emulating a character its almost like you are channeling Kaufmann. DEFINITELY A GOOD WATCH.

Watch "Sunderland 'Til I Die".

A chilling insight into how a football club can spiral when it's run badly from top-to-bottom.

Narcos. Brilliant. Made going away to Millwall in the 70’s look like a trip to Disneyland.
The Crown I love too especially from an historical perspective. Makes Megxit look like a nice day in Sandringham.

Just watched Mindhunters which I would recommend - 2 series drama about the early days of the FBI Behavioural Science unit. Some great acting with a special mention to the guy who plays Ed Kemper (the coed killer) - very chilling

Unlike Snooty im waiting for an op ,can reccomend Tom Hardy in "Lawless"and ive become addicted to the Scottish comedy serial "Still Game" ,there are also some great documentarys by Ken Burns ,who has never made a bad doc in his life.I was given Netflix for Christmas as well as Alexa, and I have to say that Alexa still runs miles in front.

'Inception'

After all the hype, I expected a little more than the Maurits Esher reversible staircase.

I think Narcos should be your number 1 pick - followed by Narcos Mexico.

Mindhunters is brilliant but a little slower for a lot of people’s tastes.

Better Call Saul is brilliant but you’d need to watch Breaking Bad first.

The Sunderland documentary is almost as funny as the Blackburn Rovers one, with the full horror of the Venkey Chicken owners in charge .....

One instance, they gave Steve Keen a contract as Manager stating that he couldn't be sacked under any circumstances .... and, guess what ? ... Yes, he signed it .....

Netflix is no different from all the other come hither cheap sources of home entertainment. Suck you in make you dependant on its content then milk you for all it's worth.

And they will because you will not notice the subtle price changes and introduced a blockbuster now and again leaving you in the hope for the next one. All controlled by the paper medium who just happen to own Netflix. Enjoy.[sad]
