You are a fountain of knowledge about music Mali, incredible in fact, the only other person that I've met with an encyclopaedic brain is Geoff Davies

even if they get it spot on, chances of them going all in next time round are pretty remote.

to put it in context: last time the premier TV deal was negotiated it cost 4.5bn for the main packages. the entire global budget of amazon prime TV is estimated to be between 3.8bn to 4.5bn.

so its a hell of an expense considering that 4.5bn is only for the UK TV rights. i think amazon are only doing this to drag us all into a loss leading free trial, in the hope that we will then use them for our xmas shopping.

Mali, what year did you sell your chain of What Records shops? If I remember right there were 4,one
in Hinckley(next to Maccy D's),Nuneaton(in the Arcade),Rugby and Daventry.
There's a guy trading online for vinyls with the What Records name from Burton Hastings now.
Nervous Records on the Lawns in Hinckley has just had it's 40th year anniversary!

I think it's nailed on that Amazon will charge 7.99 for full rights. Happy days.

9 times out of ten I used to buy from WR Hinckley, because that's where we shopped. I can remember buying 'Cloudcuckooland' by the lightning seeds from you though.
