They were better at not having the ball.

Thought they committed a lot of fouls that the ref let go or did not book. Also able to stand within 10 yards of all our free kicks for some reason.

They did create some decent openings and threatened a second on the break in the second half.

We had the better quality though, even if they team was not as sharp or precise as normal.

They played a good game, 5-4-1 which relied on nullifying our midfield and hitting us on the break. It worked until we went 3-5-2 and with the chances we created in the last 30 mins deserved to win. I did feel for Silva at the end. When itís going against you it goes against you in spades.

Yes we were carp and struggled first half but as one commentator said to play poorly and win is the sign of a good side.

They were so brittle at the back ... if we had scored early on they would have caved in .... Can't see then going down though ....

Let's be honest, they deserved a point, but in football you take any bit of luck that comes your way, and two nice finishes to clinch all three points

Bring on the Deeney-less and manager-less Watford....

Certainly didn't deserve a point from were I was sitting. The Vardy header over the bar, the Maddison miss from inside the 6-yard box, the Tielemans fumbled pass when one-on-one with Pickford. Everton hardly got forward in the second half and were just hanging on using all the usual dark art tactics.

3 home points was the fair result.

We deserved the points, There are some real to55pots on GOT, like you get on any forum, but in the main they arenít that different to us in terms of insights, gallows humour and irreverence. Unlike the main Liverpool forum, which seems to be packed with delusional fanboys who talk in slogans and sound bites.

Any one hear the scousers chant 'your son is a nonse'.Who was that aimed at?
Vardy got the usual from them also, was hoping he'd score down our end after that.

Let's be honest, they didn't deserve a point, and the Everton fan I was with didn't think so either.

They were closer to being the better team than most others we have played this season.

After a quick Google, it appears that his son was one of 4 Brighton players found not guilty of sexually assaulting a woman

Can not blame Everton for there tactics but letís be clear. They looked a desperate team to me the way they set up. There whole game was based on banks of players set up to frustrate, time waste, kick, feign injury, as bnet said, they paid us the respect of changing there team. Watford will be just as desperate so expect more of the same on Wednesday, I really hope we can get an early goal to settle us down, maybe a 3-0 win [:D]

After some comments along the lines of its only leicester...I'm glad we beat them....especially after their time wasting antics.
Deluded like arsenal..have some sort of right to beat us.

I genuinely feel sorry for supporters of the likes of Liverpool, Man City and, now, Leicester - once the searing joy of another victory has faded beyond even a warm glow, they have to go back to their dull and meaningless lives. Whereas, as an Everton supporter, my dull and meaningless life feels like a blessed relief! [:D]
