Aha... JJ has just remembered that we were and still will be above Man City and perhaps, just perhaps, in with a shout

Because Liverpool don't look like losing one game let alone three they are just a machine

Well I did put a tenner on us to win the league at 50-1. But Liverpool have got to lose three games and us not lose a game I didn't say it was impossible but Liverpool would have to implode considering they haven't lost for 31 games and not at home for two years.

They are mot as good as you all seem to think they are. I talk to a few of their supporters most days and one of them thinks Man City will win it.

I actually think Liverpool are starting to look vulnerable. They are currently getting away with it.

Obviously we need to beat them Boxing Day to be in with a real chance and rely on others doing the same ... but it's not impossible that they could lose/draw to Chelsea, Man City and perhaps derby games against Everton and Man U. Apparently Brightpn pushed them close ... a team that rarely challenged against us.

It could still happen!

The results today have (except for the Liverpool game) really gone our way: Man City drew and Chelsea lost. If we win tomorrow that opens up a little gap between us and Man City in 3rd.

It'll be difficult to catch Liverpool no matter what. They're getting away with a lot, and this can't last forever. However, they're still collecting points upon points, and they're in a very comfortable position.

They're now facing a very tough period but so do we! Let's see where we stand in early January, preferably with three points against them in the bag!

My plastic Mickey Mouser mate said the same Elsie.
I reckon it's a case of whether their luck runs/holds out & we don't get any.

Liverpool may have had another narrow win yesterday but Allison will be out for 3 games now within their busiest period of the season.

I just want them to draw one of their next few League games whilst we win, then a win against them on Boxing Day might bring us within three points (depending on other results between now and then).

Thought Alisson just missed the one game for that offence.

Thing is with Liverpool I think most teams are beaten before they play Liverpool especially at Anfield.
