In a word, GARBAGE.

First shot on target 82nd minute.

We've got Vardy. Top English scorer in the Premier League.
Created nothing for him.

Saw nothing of us being aggressive going forward.
So often Rodgers has said this is how he wants us.

Didn't pass the ball quick enough.

Chillwell and Maddison did my head in.

Puel would've been lambasted for yesterday's effort.

If we play 2 holding midfielders then it makes us negative and deep. We only need one and i suspect next week Barnes/Praet or Albrighton will play instead of Choudhury. Maddison and Tielemans had to come and get the ball off Choudhurys feet yesterday because between him and Chilwell, the default pass is negative. we as fans saw this problem last season with Puel at home to Southampton. Wilf is better on his own and because he passes forward it means players are closer to Vardy already.

Much as I was disappointed and fed up with the whole game yesterday I have to acknowledge that Wolves did a brilliant job on us and they stuck to the task for the whole 90 mins.

They came to park the bus. Despite us having all the possession and keeping it for long periods on our back line, their forwards did not get drawn on to us, which would have created space in front of the midfield for us to play in. I agree that we didn't help ourselves by playing too holding midfielders.

We do need to find a way to draw teams on to us and create that space, currently too many teams come here to defend deep, and we still have the problem on not being able to create space to play in.

once more Wints you have got it spot on..they came to park the bus and strung 5 players across the penalty box

The problem also is the lack of aerial threat and the blend yesterday was not quite right looked better when Albrighton came on

The game was crying out for Barnes/Albrighton to be introduced much earlier...very surprised BR took so long to do it.
Chillwell needs a winger in front of him to give him options when he has the ball

Didn't Vardy miss a sitter from 6 yards??

Problem is, as it was with large swathes of the Puel era, if there is limited movement up front then it kind of slows everything down.

That’s a very good analysis from wints. They’d have taken a point at the start but thought they could also Nick a 1-0. VAR saved us.
I also think that their defenders played very deep even when they attacked. It left Vardy isolated against 3 defenders.
Their game plan is simple. No possession, nick it and burst forward quickly. It was exactly like us in 15/16. That Jimenez is a right handful. It’ll be very interesting to see how they get on in their 2nd season

Wellerson

No, vardy didn't miss a sitter. He was never in possession of the ball.
It was booted across goal as hard as it could. Hence why it went to the far touchline.
If the ball had been passed to Vardy he would've knocked it home.

But we do attack down the wings, it's our default attacking position. Wolves stopped us. It's entirely right to say 'two good teams cancelling each other out', as Daz says, it's just that neither of the teams had a particularly good day. A draw was a fair result.

Us cognoscenti (shurely shume mishtake. Ed.) in the pre-match Brains Trust debate had a rare consensus in that we all thought we'd start with the same XI that began against Atalanta.

We were surprised therefore that Ndidi (who did have a very good game, as did Söyüncü) came in instead of Albrighton. What buckin Buck's rationale behind that unduly defensive and narrow formation is something of a mystery. Answers on a postcard to the usual address. No penetration at all (oo er missus): we didn't deserve 3 points and would have got nowt in pre-VAR days.

I'm still on the bus but if we don't win next week I'll be lumping on for relegation. Bill Hill currently offering 50/1 on that. Worth a cheeky fiver?

Since we won the league most teams have come to us to defend. had teams done that in 15/16 we would not have won the league.

Wolves are decent up front. Against the better attacking teams we’ll probably play Choudhury and Ndidi. We may play both again at Chelsea however we are more pleasing on the eye with Barnes and/or Albrighton.

Maddison didn’t have the best of games either. We have too many midfielders really to keep everyone happy this season but I don't want to see any of them go out on loan.

Lots of things wrong yesterday and nobody taking any responsibility to change things. Not even to the extent of someone saying to Maddison ‘tell you what Mate, i’ll Take this corner’
Vardy if he’d been on his toes instead of flat footed would have scored that excellent chance
Chilwell was as bad as I’ve seen him
Perez lost possession easily
Only Farquart excelled
