Is there some agenda behind this group's constant speculation concerning Harry Maguire?

No other media outlet (mainstream or otherwise) is stating that Maguire to Manure is nigh-on a certainty - only those buggers seem to be so sure. Why is that?

No agenda, probably more like a sharing of internal journalistic resources. Somebody there thinks it's going to happen, and that view has percolated to their other publications.

The Express and The Star - now owned by the Mirror group, Reach - share much of the same content.
What you have to remember here is that it's not about truth or exclusives or telling you something you might not know. It's about clicks.
Harry Maguire is clickworthy. Man Utd fans are interested. Man City fans re interested. We're interested. He's a first choice England centre half going for possibly a record fee for a defender so half the country is interested.
My guess - and it is just a guess - is that none of these reporters know what's happening here - but they keep peddling the same stories, the same gossip and speculation, because people click on it. The more we click on it, the more they can show their advertisers - hey, look how popular we are. Look how many people are reading this. Wouldn't you like to advertise here?

Don't clink on it.
Don't play their game.
We get the news we deserve - and the more we click on stories like this, the more we're saying to the people driving these newspapers into the ground that this is what we want.

More cheery missives later in the summer.

They own the Manchester Evening News and Leicestershire Live aswell.

Click away.

They have interests in betting markets aswell so all this will he/won't he is a tempter for people to bet on whether he will go Man Utd/Man City.

I am now going to ask a genuine question, because I really don't know the answer - and I am sure the those in the know will be able to answer.

Is this 'FredLeicester' the 'real' one?
