The Foxestalk website is about as much use as a glass hammer
Anybody not towing their line is banned or posts deleted
What good is that for any sort of forum
This site has views both positive and negative and leaves the alternative out of sight[:D]

You wouldn't believe it Crafty. Any excuse to get his name up and it's all of a sudden a love in.

I am sure some of the blokes on there would marry him if they could.

This all reminds of the time that I turned down the leading role in The Wedding Planner because Nigel Pearson would have been the groom!

Their posting activities always tail off after 9 pm when their mums have activated the child locks on their PC's. It really is an awful site. Run by a little clique of loners who gang together and attack like crossbreed Poodle Rottweilers anyone who does not share their infantile opinions. A good site layout ruined by chattering school kids and their king of the nips mentors.

I believe that Bentleys Roof and foxestalk can co-exist in harmony. But then again I think the same about Israel and Palestine, so maybe I'm just a blue-eyed idealist with no grasp of reality?

Whilst I acknowledge his shortcomings (both on and off the pitch) and the fact that we have clearly moved onwards and (undoubtedly) upwards since his time in charge, I for one will always look back on his time at the helm with positivity and grateful thanks for the work he did to drag this club up by the boot straps...

Should I be relegated to Foxestalk?

The thing is, most people on this board don't really like planners, like Pearson and Puel. They are of the opinion that things could be done a lot faster by buying most of your team like Sven Goran Eriksson.

Of course, this didn't work out, but there is no reason to suppose that it couldn't work out again, providing that we get the right manager.

we don't like garbage managers like Pearson and Puel, they couldn't plan a Tupperware party.

Sounds interesting - a party in which people are only allowed to wear Tupperware. In these enlightened times, I suppose anything goes [:D]

You live in a black and white world.

Neither manager was "garbage". They had their limitations certainly, (and the football under Puel was severely lacking in the entertainment sense) and I wouldn't have either back again, but ultimately they both made something of a contribution to where the club finds itself today. To deny this is just churlishness.

Maybe they couldn't plan a Tupperware party - but they could probably spell it correctly...

Like I said before - everything in your world appears to be black and white with no allowance for shades of grey...

Certain aspects of our play did improve under Puel and his recruitment record was none to shabby either.

Unfortunately, he couldn't find the best way to utilise the talent he recruited to good effect and his preferred style of dour, 'risk averse' football bored the pants off the fans.

I'm acknowledging the fact that (ultimately) he was a failure at our club - no question; but he did leave the squad in a better state than it was when he arrived...

As for being sacked being a sign of a "garbage" manager, it would seem that Puel and Pearson join some pretty exalted company in the garbage can...Bobby Robson, Jose Mourinho, Brian Clough, Jimmy Bloomfield, Alf Ramsey, Martin O’Neill...err...Brendan Rodgers...etc., etc.,
