They might be a little smeared with spittle though![:D]
Cov. playing all of their games "away" next season.
I wonder what their attendance figures will be like for their "home" games?

Just to be serious for a minute, this is a truly awful thing to happen. I feel genuinely sorry for them.

What have the B'ham fans done to deserve that ??

When you consider all those years ago that Notts County replaced three stands during one close season, surely Coventry could get something sorted within a year back in the city or close by?

I don't think building the stands is a problem its finding the land. And the infrastructure has to be in place, they were piling our ground for months before the groundwork proper started. A new stadium takes about a year to construct.

Hey COAB are you well?

I guess Birmingham is more accessible than Northampton, itís rubbish for drinking though as the local communities have bought most of the old pubs and turned them into community centres (mosques).

Youíre best off drinking round by Digbeth between the city centre and the ground.

I know you were looking at doing something at Butts Lane. Is there nothing even temporary that you could do at the old speedway circuit? Just one main stand and some temporary stands would do the business, and the main stand would do for the speedway if it ever returned and Cov moved to a more permanent ground.

Brandon Bees Stadium has been condemned I believe.

Besides, it's in the Borough of Rugby and we don't want those smelly beings in Rugby! [;)]

The issue (in my opinion of course) is that the council are so in bed with Wasps, and so entrenched in their opposition to SISU, that they are unlikely to give the club any assistance to finding a new ground.

In the (hopefully likely) scenario that the Wasps project ends in tears, the last thing they will want is us playing in another stadium in the city, and then left with the Ricoh as a white elephant.

I've just read up about the scandal of how the Ricoh was sold to Wasps and the political meanderings going on in Cov. Also the debt problems Wasps will face in 2022.

So I've come to the conclusion that both Wasps and Cov should be disbanded. Then I won't have to waste any more of my time reading about it.
