Think most of us would prefer Quorn, Nagerz.

Leuven is a lovely little place, quite reachable on the train. As is Quorn, of course.

Nah... you have to walk all the way from Barr-ah train station to get to Quorn.

While Rodgers was at Celtic, they played pre season games in Prague (twice) & Vienna (twice)
Whether BR had any say in the choice of matches I have no idea but a couple of days watching us in either or both cities would be great.

Vienna sounds good. By the way Buz, if you look at the timetable for the Great Central Railway you will find there is a train on Saturdays leaving Leicester North at 1335 and arriving at Quorn and Woodhouse at 1358. So you do not have to walk from Barrow on Soar at all.

A lovely scenic 25-30 minute walk from Barrer station across the 'slabs' to the Socialist Republic of Quorn buzz. More than enough time for four cans of spesh.

Bulls Head is still open, but it is called The Quorndon Fox these days, more of an eating establishment than a boozer. Royal Oak and White Horse fine in Quorn, or The Apple Tree if there is a match on TV.

Leuven away would be an easy jolly. I like Belgium towns in the summer worked there a lot about 20-25 years ago [^]
