I want the serial bottlers to lose to Liverpool.

The guys who support Spurs in our office are rightly full of it but their reaction had led me to the conclusion that Iíd like this spell, one of the best in their history, to leave them with no silverware to show for their efforts,

I like both managers which is a shame really, because it just adds to the impossibility of the situation. Probably I'd go for Spurs mainly because of the media love-in on Liverpool.

I've reached the same conclusion.

They would be unbearable, happy for them to remain trophyless.

It'd be a one-off.
Whereas that Liverpool team, if they keep it all together, are going to win things. It'll be horrible if they do.

But I accept, it's all unavoidable. [:D]

If Tottenham win, the London-based media will make the Liverpool love-in look like a warm up.

...and the BBC still wanted to believe that Liverpool were the choice of the country to win the league.

Noel Gallagher summed it up well on the BBC when asked about what an amazing title challenge by Liverpool. He said something like, well you have to congratulate Liverpool because after all this they still have the two biggest KFC's in the north west.

it a really hard choice to make, but i've come to the conclusion i want spuds to win. which makes me feel dirty.

i guess it comes down to who you know more of, spurs or liverpool fans. in my case it is liverpool, so better for me if they lose.

on the plus side, at least one of them will lose! added bonus of poch leaving (if he is true to his word) if spuds win, hopefully sending them back to mid table status.
